Brickwall Mason Strikes Again

Brick wall Mason stones 'em again. He stopped 45 shots in all, most of them routine. A few though were spectacular. Overall a lackluster effort by the Caps. I admit I missed the 1st Period picking up the kids and most of the 2nd cooking dinner but the rest of what I saw was a disappointment all the way around. Yet again the Caps played down to the level of their competition and this time they got bit. Hard. There were a few signs of life in the 3rd period but Mason was equal to each SOG and even got a few lucky bounces of the metal. I hope this was a wake-up to the team. Montreal won't be any easier tomorrow night. Carey Price may not play tomorrow so that's good, right? Until then.
